I highly recommend this book!”” People are coming out like never before and at the same time individuals are still killing themselves and countries are still imprisoning and killing their citizens over the notion that homosexuality is a choice. A bad choice. This belief has birthed many organizations across the globe offering gay cures for centuries but now people have risen up exposing the dangers and concerns. This is a story of one man’s passionate journey for self discovery among the strict confines of a fundamentalist religion and a homophobic society. The reader journey’s with him as he submits himself to various forms of “”gay cures””. This young man’s journey is told as a holds-no-bar tale of not only wrestling with his faith and raw sexuality, but also dealing with mental illness and the after affects of bullying. This is a done in a way that subtracts the often political and hotly contested language that often pit one side against the other. LA Jamison stands on his own platform with the simple intent of telling his story as he sees it. Along the way, the reader will get to experience the stories of countless others the young man meets along the way creating a web of people caught in the confounding web of fluid sexuality with not much to go on but the support of one another. This book is meant to help others who are struggling with their sexuality in light of their values and also guide them through the pitfalls of coming out later in life. It shows the heroic journey of coming out as a love story–a love of self and thus a love for others as well. – ASIN: 0986154903 | ISBN13: 9780986154904 | ISBN-13: 978-0986154904
